Working Principle

permanent magnet AC contactor is a new type of micro-power consumption contactor which with permanent magnet drive mechanism to replace the traditional electromagnetic drive mechanism. Its principle is utilize the principle of that magnet of same polarity will repel each other, different polarity will attract each other. Since the polarity of permanent magnet mounted on the contactor linkage is fixed, while the soft iron mounted contactor base is under the effect of external control signals, with the electronic module together generated ten to 20 ms of positive and reverse pulse current, to make soft iron produce different polarities. According to the site required that with the electronic control module to control the released voltage value, also can be delayed for some time and then send a reverse pulse current to achieve low-voltage power time delay release or delayed release of power off, to avoid of the motor jump stop from the electricity shaking  grid, so as to maintain the stable production system.


Since the world's first AC contactor, there are hundreds of millions traditional AC contactors which made by the domestic and abroad manufacturers,there are obviously disadvantages in the process of operation as following

Energy Saving:

The traditional electromagnetic contactor keep closing by the electromagnetic force generated by the energized coil to overcome the opening spring . once the current decreased that the electromagnetic force is not sufficient to against the spring reaction force, the contactor can not stay closing state, so that the traditional AC contactor keep closing on the basis of coil energized continuously, this current from tens to thousands of milliamperes. The permanent magnet AC contactor keep closing depend on the permanent magnet force, without the need of electromagnetic force generated by the coil current to keep the closing, only 1.5mA-0.8mA of electronic module operating current, therefore, it can maximize savings energy, power saving up to 99.8%. For example: A JNYC-3F / 4D (400A) permanent magnet AC contactor, saving 1622kwh yearly by 0.5 yuan / kwh calculation, the annual savings of more than 800 yuan. Since the product is reliable and extending the service life (about three to five times of ordinary AC contactor under the same conditions), while eliminating the losses for frequent replacement and maintenance. Users use the permanent contactors for 8 months, they can recover the cost of purchasing from the saved electricity charges.

1.Anti-nterference electricity

If control the released voltage set value by controlling electronic module, delayed a certain time to send a reverse pulse current to achieve low-voltage delay release or power-off delay release which will avoid of motor jump stop  from voltage fluctuations (electricity shaking ), so as to maintain stable production system. 2. No vibration

3. No temperature rise:

The traditional contactor keep holding depend on coil energized to generate sufficient electromagnetic force, the coil are composed by the resistors and inductors, which will heat certainly after long term energizing. On the other hand, the magnet will generate the heat through the core, both heat joint action inside of contactors, to make the coil burt out, at the same time, reduce the main contacts capacity. For the permanent magnet contactor, the coil doesn’t work after holding, so the coil temperature will not be rose.


4. No noise:

The traditional AC contactor keep closing depend on the coil energized to make the silicon steel plates produce electromagnetic force to make the dynamic and static silicon steel plates closed, when the grid voltage is not sufficient or dynamic and static silicon steel plates surface irregularities or dust, which will make the noises. The permanent magnet AC contactors keep closing depend on the permanent magnet force, not use of silicon steel plates, thus no noises generated.

5. Anti-electromagnetic interference:

permanent magnet circuit of permanent magnet AC contactor used is completely sealed, it will not be in the course of external electromagnetic interference, of course, will not have external electromagnetic interference.

6. long life:

The service life is three times of the electromagnetic AC contactor or more.
