"electricity shaking " just a few seconds, but it is a disaster for the company which a lot of equipment are not allowed motor trip in the continuous production, Business downtime is disastrous which lightly hundreds of thousands, tens of millions of economic losses, seriously fire, explosion and even personal safety. For the enterprise, it is really a disaster for a few seconds.


“electricity shaking ”-----during power system operation, due to lightning, shorted to ground, fault reclosing, automatic transfer system, ,enterprise external and internal grid fault, large-scale equipment started and other reasons, which caused grid failure and the voltage fluctuated widely moment or short interruption and recovery, this phenomenon is known as "electricity shaking ".

AC contactors are widely used in the low voltage motor control system, also with a large proportion. Due to electromagnetic contactor working principle, when the power grid occurs electricity shaking , the AC contactor working coil short outages, or voltage is too low, lead to dynamic and static core suction which rely on current to keep pull is less than releasing elasticity of spring, which is the important reason to occur trip and stop by contactors. Electromagnetic AC contactors working characteristics , international IEC standard rules that 80% of rated voltage is critical reliable pull-in voltage. Critical releasing voltage is 20-70% of rated voltage. Electromagnetic contactors are usually released in the 50% of normal voltage in the field using. So “electricity shaking ” leads to electromagnetic contactor trip and stop naturally without controlling because of that principles.

When the control voltage suddenly drops to a non-normal operating voltage, under-voltage signal is transmitted to the permanent contactor controlling circuit, controlling system make analysis for signal immediately, which need time delay to prevent electricity shaking  occurs. the contactor keep its condition within the setting time delay, it will be disconnect over the setting time delay.

Intelligent voltage drop time delay AC, DC contactors are in the rated working voltage conditions, due to a variety of different conditions influence, the voltage drops to a certain voltage value suddenly, the contactor time delay control program started, it stay closed condition within the scheduled time range, when over the scheduled time, the voltage can’t recovery, the contactor will release immediately. The contactor is used as routine operating characteristics under the normal voltage condition, the time delay will not occur. the time delay is set 0.1ms -10000ms (optionally), ± 0.5% error.

Technical requirements:  the contactor delay 3 seconds releasing when the rated voltage drops suddenly to 30% of rated voltage.

According to the requirements that the intelligent time delay contactor delay releasing when rated voltage drops suddenly, regardless of any impact in any conditions, as long as the working voltage drops suddenly to 66V (±10%) the contactor starts the delay releasing function, when the scheduled time delay is over, the working voltage can’t recovery, the contactor will release immediately.
